XT: kein VGA möglich?

Ich habe meinem Olivetti M24SP die 8Bit ISA Grafikkarte verpasst die ich hier bekommen habe. Die Karte lief auf einem 486er Testboard tadellos. In meinem Olivetti bringt sie kein Bild, die CGA/Herculeskarte habe ich draussen. Allerdings hat das Systemboard im Olivetti noch einen Grafikausgang (EGA?). Hier die Infos zu dem Board:

Am DipSW 1/4 habe ich Display schon auf non-Standard gesetzt, hilft aber nichts. Auf dem Systemboard (welches die Riserkarte und die Hauptplatine verbindet) gibt es auch Jumper, allerdings finde ich zu diesen keine Dokumentation.

Kann es sein, dass der Olivetti die Karte nicht sieht? Oder habe ich etwas übersehen? Was ist eure Einschätzung? Es wäre schön, wenn der Olivetti auch VGA könnte :)

Du musst wohl das XT Mainboard auf Color Jumpern, und Onboard Video off.
Die Frage ist eben wie das geht. Die DIP Switch Bänke lassen eigentlich schon mal gutes vermuten.
Kann sein das du auch CGA/HGC/EGA setzen kannst gab auch Chipsets wo man den Monitortyp wählen kann.

Hast du HGC/MDA onboard/gesteckt könntest du eine VGA Karte dennoch ansprechen als zweite Videokarte oder als erste je nach dem.
VGA und HGC/MDA können coexistieren.

Kannst du mal den Onboard Grafikchip identifizieren und die Bezeichnung posten bzw googeln (Datasheet) ?

Sieht der Olivetti andere Option Roms ? z.B. XTIDE, Netzwerkkarten BIOS, SCSI Rom, HDD Controller ROM ?

Ich habe leider keine andere Karte, mit der ich testen könnte ob der Olivetti die ROMs sieht. Zu dem Videoboard findet man nichts, Bezeichnung ist PC01015 CRT CNTR. Die Jumper dort sind nicht beschrieben.

Ist das Board im M24SP das gleiche wie im M24?

(BIOS-Version <1.43 = Probleme mit VGA/EGA, wenn ich das richtig verstehe.)

Hast du denn den Original-Bildschirm für die Onboard-Grafik?
